Our Story

Aliments Tristan is, above all, a family story.

The company was founded over 15 years ago, driven by a simple yet meaningful vision: to create artisanal mixes and flours with true, authentic flavor, made from wholesome and nourishing ingredients, to make everyday life easier without ever compromising on quality. From the very beginning, the goal was to nourish people with products made with heart, honesty, and respect.

When my parents acquired the company, it consisted of only three products. They chose to believe in it, to invest their time, energy, and passion. I grew up watching them work, create, sometimes doubt, but above all persevere. The company grew alongside me, shaped by effort, learning, and dreams shared around the family table.

Over the years, their commitment paid off. The business evolved naturally, always guided by the same core values. Today, Aliments Tristan offers more than 40 products that have found their way into many Québec households. Our range has expanded to include coffee, flours, flour blends, maple products, as well as confections and delicious fruit cakes. Each new product is the result of thoughtful decisions—never by chance.

More recently, we took an important new step by choosing to roast our coffee on-site. This allows us to control every detail, from bean selection to the final cup, and to offer fresh, consistent coffee crafted with precision—true to the high standards my parents passed on to me.

We also invested in our own flour mill so we could mill our flours right here. For us, this was a natural next step: regaining control over the process, respecting the grain, and ensuring consistent quality. Today, we prioritize sourcing grains from carefully selected local farmers, supporting our local economy while offering authentic, traceable ingredients.

Aliments Tristan reflects a family legacy passed down with pride. It is a company that has grown from one generation to the next, rooted in respect for craftsmanship, a love for good food, and a genuine desire to nourish people well. Every product tells a part of our story—our roots and the values my parents entrusted to me.
